「イギリスタイプ ビーグルクルー ヘルメットバッグ」は、1980年代前半に採用されたM83CVCヘルメット用のキャリアバッグです。
近年の戦車兵用のヘルメットは他国も含めて、防弾性にそれほど重きを置いておらず、ヘルメットというよりヘッドギアに近い構造で、狭い車内での頭部の保護が目的のため非常に軽量で戦車兵の負担が軽くなっています。
付属する通信器具を保護するために、航空機用のヘルメットと同様、専用のバッグが支給されています。

The “British Type Beagle Crew Helmet Bag” is a carrier bag for the M83CVC helmet adopted in the early 1980s.
In recent years, tank crew helmets—including those from other nations—have placed less emphasis on ballistic protection. Their structure is closer to headgear than traditional helmets, designed primarily for head protection in confined vehicle interiors. This results in extremely lightweight helmets, significantly reducing the burden on tank crews.
Similar to aircraft helmets, dedicated bags are issued to protect the attached communication equipment.
